Is this celebrity facial feature Frankenstein the 'ultimate woman'?

    Feelunique.com

A computer-generated photo of what the most-admired celebrity would look like.

    By Rina Raphael

If you combined Megan Fox's eyebrows with Angelina Jolie lips, added in a dash of Gwyneth Paltrow's chin ... would you be able to create the most attractive woman?

That's what Feelunique.com — a British beauty shopping website — tried to do, asking 9,350 of its customers to vote for "the most beautiful body parts of celebrities they admired and most wish they had themselves." (Note: 65 percent of those surveyed were woman, which explains a lot). Who made the cut? Below is a list:

The end result? A rather pretty — yet robotic-looking — computer-generated Frankenstein of Hollywood's A-list. What do you think? Is she the "ultimate" celebrity?

Kim Kardashian designs a birthday shoe for Duchess Kate

    AP, ShoeDazzle

Kate got a special surprise for her birthday — a heel designed in her honor by Kim Kardashian, ShoeDazzleUK's chief stylist.

    By Rina Raphael

Kim Kardashian announced yesterday that she was helping celebrate Duchess Kate’s 30th birthday in her own special, reality-TV star way — by designing a shoe in her honor. The black heel, naturally, is dubbed “The Duchess.”

In a video posted on Celebuzz, Kim wished Kate a happy birthday (“welcome to the thirties club!”) and expressed her need to help ring in the royal’s new chapter. “I personally love Kate’s classic style and this shoe has gorgeous, classic quilting and a really graceful silhouette,” Kim wrote. “This shoe would make any girl feel like a princess!”

ShoeDazzleUK's chief stylist Kim Kardashian wishes Kate a very happy 30th birthday.

The shoe is available on Shoedazzle.com for £39.95. Ever so helpful, Kim suggests pairing it with a camel cashmere dress and a thin leather belt “to meet the boyfriend’s parents for the first time.” Ya know, if said parents live at Buckingham Palace.

Rina Raphael is a TODAY.com editor who ushered in Kate's birthday by eating no less than four TODAY anniversary donuts.

How to dress like (birthday girl) Duchess Kate

    Getty

The fashionable Duchess of Cambridge attends the UK premiere of War Horse at Odeon Leicester Square on Jan. 8, in London, England.

Duchess Kate turns 30 today and though she didn't throw a lavish bash (sorry, Prince Harry), she did manage to bid farewell to her 20s in style: The fashionable royal wore a stunning lace gown by Alice Temperley at the "War Horse" London premiere this weekend. (In an interview with the BBC, director Steven Spielberg said his wife Kate Capshaw needed to pass tissues to the crying duchess, who was reportedly touched by the film).

As for her birthday celebration, Palace officials say Kate will have a "low-key and private" affair, dissapointing fans who believed last week's rumors that she was planning a wild '80s themed karaoke bash.  No matter how what she does, we here wish her a very happy birthday! We're celebrating the only way we know how — with a shopping guide!

Caitlin Moran of Style Within Reach rounded up affordable Kate-inspired buys in honor of her royal style:

    Caitlin Moran

    1. Pearlescent flower studs, $3.80, Forever21
    2. Trenchcoat, $49.99, H&M
    3. Halston Heritage dress, $130, The Outnet
    4. Cardigan, $24.95, H&M
    5. Pinstriped welt-pocket shirt, $17.50, Old Navy
    6. Wisteria Shirtdress, $76, Topshop
    7. Mossimo womens' skinny jeans, $27.99, Target
    8. Chelsea flat, $16.99, Payless
    9. Lace skater dress, $35, Oasis

The Duchess of Cambridge dazzled at the "War Horse" premiere as she got ready to turn 30 with an 80's themed bash, planned by her sister Pippa and Prince Harry. Michelle Kosinski reports.

    Was Kate channeling Princess Diana?

The duchess turned heads on Saturday at the Sun Military Awards in London while decked out in a velvet gown by Alexander McQueen, along with matching diamond bracelet and earrings and a ruby and diamond necklace. The elegant choice was remarkably similar to a style the late princess (then Lady Diana Spencer) wore to a fundraiser at The Royal Opera House in 1981 with her then-fiance Prince Charles.

March 9 1981: Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer attend their first public engagement together, a recital at London's Goldsmith's Hall in aid of the Royal Opera House Development Appeal.

Diana’s choice – designed by Elizabeth and David Emmanuel, who would also craft her wedding gown – was also made of velvet, and featured a sweetheart neckline and subtle ruffles. (It sold at auction last year for about $300,000, according to the Daily Mail).

One other standout? The sapphire diamond engagement ring, originally worn by Diana, given to Kate from Prince William. While the real baubles are hard to come by, you can get this royal look with the help of Caitlin Moran of Style Within Reach. Check out these stunning, affordable buys:

Kate, Pippa and their mom: Who's the most stylish?

Who is your Middleton fashion icon? Kate, Carol or Pippa?

It used to be that all eyes were on Duchess Kate, what she was wearing, and how you could emulate her look. Who can forget Kate's blue engagement dress, or the beige dress she wore to meet the Obamas? Lookalikes of both flew off the racks.

But Kate's not the only Middleton with a flair for fashion. Her sister Pippa and her mom, Carol, are also setting trends, and many American women are following them.

Whose fashion do you like the best? Which Middleton woman's style would you wear?

Who is your Middleton fashion icon?

Marie Claire magazine's Zanna Roberts Rassi analyzes the latest fashion trends being set by the Middleton women, including the Duchess herself, Kate, and her mother.

Duchess Kate sparks yet another wedding trend

    John Stillwell / AP

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, left, leaves Clarence House, London, with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall to travel to Buckingham Palace for the evening celebrations following her wedding to Britain's Prince William, Friday April 29, 2011.

    By Chiara Atik

Six months have passed, but the royal wedding is still setting trends. This time it's not Duchess Kate's lace Alexander McQueen wedding gown that's inspiring soon-to-be brides, but rather the angora knit bolero she wore at the evening wedding reception.

Middleton wore the bolero over her Alexander McQueen evening gown, her second wedding outfit of the day. The dress was probably sleeveless, but was never photographed without the 3/4-cropped sweater. At the time, the choice may have seemed overly demure, but now that the weather is turning colder, winter brides (and their wedding helpers) are rushing to copy the look, including stylist Clare Mukherjee, who wrote about the phenomenon for the Huffington Post.

    monsoon.co.uk

A Monsoon angora bolero fit for a royal.

"[I was faced with] the onslaught of requests for angora boleros from my brides-to-be," Mukherjee wrote. "I had to ask myself the dreaded question, do they even exist?!"

Women who once may have opted for jackets and wraps now desperately want a soft bolero to be a stylish and practical way to make sleeveless dresses work in cooler weather.

"We're always looking for visual inspiration," says TODAY style correspondent Bobbie Thomas. "For brides who want a practical way to keep warm or covered for other reasons, Kate was a model example of how to wear a shrug in a modern way."

U.K. retail store Monsoon has a similar angora bolero, which, according to customers who reviewed it on the site, is "very Kate Middleton." USA brides who wish to appropriate Middleton's look get the Monsoon version shipped for around $60, plus $15 in shipping. It's not exactly cheap -- but looking like a princess rarely is.

American brides channel Duchess Kate... and her carriage?

Trendsetting royal? Duchess Kate wore a romantic lace veil at her April 29 nuptials.

    By Brooke Foster

Is the Duchess lifting the veil on timeless traditions?

If you went to a wedding in the last decade, chances are the bride wore a strapless gown and her hair pulled back in an updo. But Kate changed all of that when she married Prince William on April 29.

Instead of a strapless style, women are suddenly more drawn to ladylike silhouettes — like the one Sarah Burton designed for Ms. Middleton — according to new research by Brides magazine. Dan Rentillo, fashion director for David’s Bridal, told Brides that similar lacy dresses are flying off the shelves. “Women have really responded to the coverage,” says Rentillo. “They’re asking for ladylike gowns with clean, simple lines.”

American women have also shown an interest in veils, with 52 percent of women saying that they’re more likely to wear the romantic head covering because of Kate. The tiara, what Brides calls “the ultimate princess accessory,” is also back; Lindsie Jones Haute chic line of tiaras are nearly sold out.

As for the royal treatment? There’s been a 200 percent increase in the interest in horse and carriage rentals at Nolan’s Horse-Drawn Carriages in San Luis Obispo in California. Many brides are requesting dainty lily of the valley flowers in their bouquets; Kate’s had lily of the valley, sweet williams, hyacinth and myrtle. Since Middleton’s ring is the sapphire engagement ring worn by Prince William’s late mother Princess Diana, there’s been an uptick in heirloom rings among the newly engaged. Also, JCPenney reports that sales of sapphire jewelry have increased overall since Prince William proposed.

And not surprisingly, there’s been an interest among brides to leave their hair long and loose. Celebrity hairstylist Rodney Cutler told Brides: “Many brides want to wear their hair down but get an updo because they think they have to. Kate has given the women freedom to be themselves.”

    By Rina Raphael

    Costume-change much, Kate?

The newlywed has already showcased several fashionable dresses during her visit to Canada. Like a Bond character, Kate began her journey by boarding the Ottawa-bound plane in a ladylike navy dress by French designer Roland Mouret, a blazer by Toronto’s Smythe les Vestes and navy Manolo Blahnik Calogera pumps, then switched into another outfit somewhere over the Atlantic. She landed in a feminine lace shift dress by Canadian-born designer Erdem Moralıoğlu and nude-colored LK Bennett Sledge2 Pumps. (Oh those royals and their handy aircraft dressing rooms!)

Onward Kate marched through North American territory, making an appearance at a casual barbecue Thursday night, wearing only one of her favorite designers, Issa. The bird-print dress might look familiar: Middleton wore it the night before her April 29 nuptials. The LK Bennett wedge slingbacks were also repeats, having first made their public appearance in April.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive at a citizenship ceremony in Quebec, Canada on Friday July 1.

Then this morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the Canada Museum of Civilization, for which Kate wore the famous white Reiss frock immortalized in her official engagement photos. She spruced it up with a bright red maple leaf fascinator by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock and Co. and a diamond brooch in the shape of a maple leaf, loaned to her by the Queen. (Here’s hoping she wears a palm tree hat when she hits L.A.)

It’s apparent that Kate is deliberate with her style. She specifically chose designers that had a tie to the host country and repeatedly proved she knows how to recycle her wardrobe. As previously reported, Kate did not bring along a stylist along for her overseas adventures. Smart move: It seems the royal can make her accessible, repetitive and high-meets-low fashion choices all on her own.

From festive fascinators to striking footwear, the "cost conscious" Duchess of Cambridge continues to dazzle during her recent trip to North America. Marie Claire's Zanna Roberts Rassi breaks down Catherine's thrifty good looks.
