Would you spend a million dollars on a single bottle of perfume?

If the answer is yes, DKNY can hook you up.

Kiss your paycheck goodbye? Supermodel Chanel Iman attends the unveiling of DKNY's million-dollar Golden Delicious fragrance bottle at the DKNY Store on Dec. 5 in New York City.

The brand just unveiled a very special (and very pricey), one-of-a-kind bottle of their Gold Delicious fragrance. Jewelry designer Martin Katz crafted the bottle out of 14-karat yellow and white gold, as well as 2,700 white diamonds, 183 yellow sapphires, and a 2.43-carat yellow canary diamond. The perfume itself contains notes of orange flower water, white rose, vanilla orchid, and golden delicious apple.

Chanel Iman was on hand to debut the million-dollar scent at the DKNY store last evening, along with an array of bodyguards. Of course, the bottle isn’t just blinged out for the sake of, well, blinginess. Proceeds from its sale (yes, someone will apparently be buying this thing) will benefit Action Against Hunger.

Right, because the average person has millions in the bank and nothing to spend them on, eh?

How about giving 1 million to charity instead? A perfume, regardless of the bottle, is still just a perfume.

Why couldn't they just donate the money instead of using the promotion of a perfume? Just give it!

You could go slumming and carry it around in the $200,000 Hermes purse.
